VGR TopChanger XP

Description

The TopChanger aerates the soil. The TopChanger uses water power to aerate the soil. When water is injected under high pressure, it creates channels into the soil. This creates aeration holes. These newly-created air pores bring oxygen into the soil. The soil then absorbs the water, allowing the TopChanger to aerate while leaving minimal remnants on the playing surface. This unique aeration method ensures lower operational costs. Using water for aeration, especially in soils containing rocks, helps minimize any chance of machine breakdowns.

With damp sand vibration unit. Tool kit and spare parts package included.

The VGR TopChanger is a machine designed for deep, targeted turf maintenance. It’s able to utilize wet sand, making it a more economical solution compared to traditional topdressing methods. Here’s how it works:

  • Precise Aeration: High-pressure water shoots through the injection nozzle from the water chamber, penetrating deep into the soil. This relieves compaction and creates channels for improved airflow and drainage.
  • Sand Injection: As the water moves through the soil, it accelerates and creates a low-pressure zone (the Venturi Effect), drawing sand into the channel behind it. This keeps the channels open, improving drainage and root development for healthier turf.
  • Surface Recovery: Integrated rollers help close the surface and restore playability quickly, minimizing downtime.

Why Choose the VGR TopChanger:
VGR is built for crews who need to get work done without shutting things down. The TopChanger allows you to aerate and inject material in one pass while keeping greens and fairways in play.

It also runs standard bunker sand, so you’re not dealing with the cost and hassle of kiln-dried material. Less downtime, fewer steps, and a more practical way to stay ahead of your conditions.
